Our Team

Tori and Tim have been a dynamic father-daughter duo forever so it's suiting that Tori is now the General Manager at Epulo. She has a wealth of hospitality experience including wineries, vineyards, event planning, and has worked every position in the restaurant. She has a financial and math degree from University of Washington as well as a level 2 sommelier certification. She brings an assortment of creativity, leadership, and financial acumen to the table at Epulo and we are happy to have her as part of this team.

Tim Morris - Owner

Local raised in a Seattle Restaurant Family, Tim grew up working at family restaurants including Herfy’s Hamburger chain and Clarks Restaurants. Tim went to WSU and studied in Hotel Restaurant School. In the 80’s, his passion and drive for hospitality led him to start a bakery chain in local malls and office building called Le Chatel Bakery. Then in the 90’s, he created a small chain of gourmet Italian Pasta shops called Lucca’s Pasta Bar’s. Always desiring a full-scale restaurant and bar endeavor, Tim opened up Epulo Bistro in 2009. Tim is a resident of Edmonds and a longtime supporter of Edmonds Center for the Arts and Village Theater.

Alex Kurtz - Head Chef

Alex has been a chef for over 20 years specializing in fine dining and casual cuisine. Alex was classically trained in French and Italian Cuisine. From Arizona working in the resort industry, to Edmonds, which he now can call home. Alex came to Epulo 9 years ago, and we are so glad he is a part of the team.
